Jo Potter shared this finished wolf page with us on Facebook.

Piercing blue eyes contrast well with the yellow background

We love the texture that the coloring pencils give the fur of this beast and the color choice is well judged.  The bright background really makes the animal stand out from the page.

Fantastic Floral

For a wonderful example of blending and shade effects then take a look at this wonderful bouquet of flowers LuckyLemon2 shared on Instagram.

Beautiful shading really lifts this design from the page

Dark colors in the background foliage give depth to this coloring page and the beautiful blending on the foreground leaves and petals give those flowers a real life like effect.  Beautiful work!

Subtle Shades

KSue Powell also shares a fine example of pencil shading with this Florida themed coloring page.

The shading and texture of the oranges in this coloring page makes you feel like you could just reach out and pluck one from the tree!

Perfect Pastels

Harmony Lynn shared this heart of flowers with us over on Facebook.  The picture itself is a little blurry, but the color choice in this piece is so good that we had to include it in the showcase!

The selection of pastel shades in this page really make this design shine.  If you want some tips for using pastel shades in your own coloring check out or pastel pen test and coloring guide.

Beautiful Colors

Finally, Natalia_Coloring gives us this sweet mandala that she shared on Instagram.

Look at the fantastic colors in this pattern!

The blending of colors is wonderful and the choice of reds and oranges with those darker blues, purple and green work really well!
