I think we saw some of our best ever entries for the monthly coloring challenge in March! The free Owl themed coloring page inspired some amazing coloring; we had bright and bold owls mixed with chic and calm birds. We round up our favorite feathered friends after we reveal the design to inspire you all for thecoloringbook.club April Coloring Challenge!

March Coloring Challenge – Our Favorites Revealed!
We had a parliament of well dressed Owls in our March coloring challenge, thank you to everyone that entered and shared their page with us. We simply couldn’t showcase all of the brilliant entries last month, there were so many, but here are some of our favorite feathered friends.
Old Blue Eyes
Mary Thomas shared her brightly colored finished page with us on Facebook. Mary uses some bright colors to produce a striking bird.

We really like the balance of the blue and pink plumage at the head and tail of this owl and the accents of blending, like the darker pink on the tips of those wings, add some nice depth to those feathers.
Night Owl
Janice Wiley produced this wonderful night owl.

By framing the bird with that brilliant moon she has really added something extra to the design of the page. The details in the coloring of the branch and the petals of those flowers are a real treat too! Great work.
Bird of Peace, Calm and Tranquility
This coloring page from Debbie Yip is simply beautiful. The use of subtle shades of a single color has produced a really calm and cool piece of artwork.

With varying strengths of black and purple, Debbie has created a shine to the wing of the bird and the soft blue background really helps this owl stand out.
All in the Details
Bird feathers are great to color and Celia Fonsalia really shows us how to do it well with her fantastic entry.

There is a lot of work in the coloring of those feathers, the layering of different colors and the textures created by carefully adding uniform diagonal strokes makes them feel so real you almost expect the breeze to make them ruffle! The colors in this piece are also well balanced and produce a stunning coloring page.
Our Pick of the Pages – Technicolor Dream Owl!
We had such skill on show this month that it really was a challenge to choose our favorite entry, but Helen Curry’s finished owl coloring page really grabs the attention!

This owl feels more like a phoenix with those vibrant colors, and the lovely highlights on the wings really make it sparkle (much like those clever stars in the night sky background!) There is a real twist of fantasy to this page that is created through the color choice and the misty, dreamlike background. Thanks for sharing this Helen!

the coloring pages are great. I love using the color pencils the best. The markers are harder for me to use. I use them when I want something accented.
It didn’t print.
Wow! Thank you so much for choosing my owl as your favourite! I had such fun colouring this pic! I love bright colours and use them often.
Congrats to everyone ! There are some beautiful owls on show here.
I’m looking forward to starting the new challenge.
Muchas gracias por publicar mi búho. Y por los conceptos sobre mi trabajo. Espero poder seguir participando. Saludos.
I love using the adult colouring book. So relaxing. Now I have my sister and cousin also hooked on it. Totally enjoyable.
