With detail, symmetry and plenty of geometric pattern this free Inca coloring page design would look great with block coloring. December Coloring Challenge – Our Favorite Entries!
December is a busy month, but the coloring community managed to find time to share a few fantastic entries for the Feather Friends coloring page challenge. A big thank you to all those that downloaded the page and shared their entries with us, a couple of our favorite entries are highlighted below.
Punchy Plumage
Denise Hubbard shared this wonderful page with us on facebook. Using Chameleon pens Denise has created a well balanced coloring page with beautiful greens, blues and oranges.
We love the dappled gray-blue background that helps the main design stand out from the page. Super coloring!

We also love the dappled gray-blue background that helps the main design stand out from the page. Super coloring!
Classy Colors
GramsLady shared her finished coloring page on Instagram. Using four complementary colors this page is nice and vibrant with a real warmth to it.

The turquoise and purple used in the outer ring works well to provide a border to attract the eye to the centre design.
Sitting Pretty in Pencil
Kay Cue used Prisma coloring pencils on her entry, providing some nice depth to the leaves in her design by applying a darker shade down the centre of the leaf.

Kay has used a dark red in the border elements of the design which works really well. Often bolder colors can overpower a coloring page, but Kay has used the color sparingly and it really works well to frame the picture.
Pick of the Flock!
Nicky_Xmas is our winner of December’s coloring challenge with this stunning entry that was shared with us on Instagram.

Nicky has some super touches in this coloring page. We really like the blending on those flowers and the subtle shading on the orange plumage of the birds around the center of the design. Nicky has even added some simple but striking additions to the design, like those simple white circles on the main mandala which really add to the finished picture. Fantastic work!
