Home is where the heart is!
Where to begin?
Stuck for where to start? Take a look at some of the great entries from past competitions to get some inspiration. Remember you don’t have to be a master of blending colors or own the most expensive markers, we are most interested in seeing how you interpret the design and the fun you have filling the coloring page in!
Now for the best entries from last month
Happy New Year from our runners up
Kim Beaumont’s entry was full of the glitter and sparkle of the new year. This could be colored with glitter pens or perhaps a tough of glitter added afterwards, either way the effect is great!
Elinor Fernandez showed us some great blending technique on the streamers and present in her entry. I also really liked the way a darker shade of green was used to add to the stars and circles in the design.
Crystal Fee Angelyn showed us, on Facebook, that having a theme for your coloring can really make a page stand out. The Tricolor flies brightly in Crystal’s entry and that red, white and blue really makes the design pop.
Jennifer Monaghan showed us a classy new year design using metallic silver and gold to add some sophistication to her entry that looks very fitting for celebrating the new year. The gold 2016 really stands out with the contrast of the black that Jennifer used for the outline. Nice work!
And the winner is…
This month’s winner, for her super candy striped 2016 and happy (year of the) monkey, is Twyla Anable.
There is some great detail in Twyla’s design, from the snowflakes on the present to the added star trails and highlights on the bubbles Twyla really went to town! Congratulations!
Send us your entry!
Once again thank you to everyone who entered last month, be sure to try your hand again this month by downloading the free design and posting with the tag #coloringbookclubcomp to instagram or facebook.
