Flower Power
Our tattoo style flower and dagger coloring page proved very popular last month, we had so many fantastic entries it was really difficult to choose our favorites! Thank you to everyone that entered and if you didn’t get picked for the showcase this time do try again this month as we love to see your coloring!
Pretty in Pink
Max Kleimann shared this striking page on Facebook.

I love the color choice for the blade of the dagger and the rose and those leaves with the darker outlines really add to the design.
Deep Purple
This entry from Pauline on Instagram uses a beautiful rich purple on the hilt of the dagger and rose to create a very attractive page.

The purple flower against those dark green leaves really catches the eye.
Bright and Bold
This bright page was shared with us by Pammy Jean on Instagram.

The warm oranges and yellows work really well on the rose and dagger, complemented by some well judged accents of purple. Lovely work Pammy!
Great Backdrop
Adrian Hull has produced a nice wood effect backdrop to the dagger by simply interleaving lines of different strength color.

The backdrop really adds extra depth to this page and immediately catches your attention. Great idea Adrian!
Clean and Fresh
The color choice in this page shared by Vickie Lynn Abel help produce a clean and fresh feel to the tattoo design.

Those bright blues and yellows are very attractive on the hilt of the dagger. Super colors Vickie!
Ray of Light
The softness of the background in this coloring page from Rose Anthony is beautifully crafted.

The way Rose has used a light feathering around the edge of the design to produce a highlight effect in the backdrop really helps to lift this dagger from the page.
You can check out our guide for coloring backgrounds to get tips and tricks on how Rose achieved this effect.
The Jewel in the Coloring Crown!
We had many great entries last month, but one page really shone for us here at thecoloringbook.club – Daria Vitale produced our pick of the coloring entries for September with this amazing bejewelled dagger coloring page!

Great technique has been used to turn this blade into a crystal encrusted dagger with stunning highlight effects. There is real depth to the design created by superb shading on the hilt and blade, offset nicely by the subtle gradients used in the foliage and flower. Truly fantastic coloring Daria, thanks for sharing!
Over to you!
